Projects
Smarter Government Initiative – With funding distributed through UK online centres last year, we increased our public internet access points, and provided outreach tutorials.  We are now aiming to get 600 new people online in the next twelve months.

Learning Centre at Hester Adrian - helps anybody to use computers and access the Internet. One to one support, individual learning plans. Specialises in helping disabled and disadvantaged people who may need additional help and encouragement – open to all. Member of UK online centres.

Tutor Recruitment Project – Providing training and support for new volunteer mentors and tutors to provide one to one support for our learners. We currently have 35 people working as mentors and tutors, with around 50% of them living with a disability. As a volunteer based organisation, we rely heavily on volunteer tutors.

Accessibility Champion - Promoting computer accessibility to all voluntary and community sector organisations in the East.

Community Partner (Switched On Communities) – Having ‘Planted’ 32 ICT Accessible Projects in the East, we continue to support them.

NHS Choices Champion - We are responsible for promoting the NHS Choices website in the East of England.

Website - full of local information, training links, and links to hundreds of local and regional websites [ www.colc.co.uk ]
